Victim Identified
in Clay Street Homicide Investigation
Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the Clay
Street homicide investigation as Sidiki Fofana, 29, of Richmond.
Yesterday at
approximately 11:13 p.m., officers were called to the 800 block of Clay
Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and located an
adult male, Fofana, on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported
to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The Medical
Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
