Mosby Victim Identified

Richmond Police have identified the man who was shot to death early this morning as James L. Louis, 36, of the 1900 block of North 20^th Street.

At just after 3 a.m., officers heard gunshots as they were on walking patrol in Mosby Court. When the officers arrived in the 1900 block of Accommodation Street they found Louis suffering from a gunshot wound.

Louis was taken to VCU Medical Center where he later died.

Detectives have been working throughout the day in their attempt to identify witnesses and gather information.
