Old Brook Road Homicide
At approximately 12:18 a.m., the Richmond Police Department received a call of a shot fired in the 4000 block of Old Brook Road. Officers arrived and found a deceased female in a parking lot of an apartment complex.
The victim is described as a black female in her late teens or early 20’s. She appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause of death.
Detectives have been canvassing the apartment complex looking for anyone who may have information that can assist the investigation.
