Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a
homicide investigation on the city’s South side.
At approximately 12:16
a.m. today, officers received a call about a shooting in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road
Officers arrived on scene within minutes and found a
Hispanic male in his late 30s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was
taken to VCU Medical Center where he later died.
Detectives believe the man was shot during a home invasion
robbery in which a struggle ensued and shots were fired.
