Victim Identified in Midlothian Turnpike
Homicide
The
Richmond Police Department has identified the man found shot to death Saturday
afternoon as Zekei Johnson, 18, of the
300 block of Red Ash Drive.
At
approximately 5:34 p.m., the Richmond Police Department was called to a hotel
at 6346 Midlothian Turnpike for reports of shots fired.
Officers
arrived in two minutes and found Johnson suffering from an apparent gunshot
wound in the parking lot of the hotel. Johnson was pronounced dead at the
scene.
