The
Richmond Police Department has identified the person fatally shot early this
morning in Creighton Court as Alex Jackson, 16, of the 1900 block of Q Street.
At
approximately 12:23 a.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Creighton
Road for a report of a shooting. At that location, they discovered Jackson’s
body lying on the ground outside a residence.
An
adult male was transported to VCU Medical Center with a non-life threatening
gunshot wound.
The
Department has classified this case as a Death Investigation.
