RPD to Promote Nine Officers from within its Ranks

The Richmond Police Department is pleased to announce the promotions of nine officers to the ranks of captain, lieutenant and sergeant at 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 14 at the Richmond Police Training Academy, 1202 W. Graham Road.

Mayor Dwight C. Jones will join Col. Alfred Durham for the promotion of one new captain, three new lieutenants and five new sergeants.

Being promoted to the rank of captain is:

1.    Christopher Gleason

Being promoted to the rank of lieutenant are:

1.    Michael Alston

    2.    Faith Flippo
    3.    KeShawn Manns

Being promoted to the rank of sergeant are:

1.    Eric Allen

    2.    Daniel Burgess
    3.    John Gardner
    4.    Stuart Hannah
    5.    Christopher Miller
