The Richmond
Police Department has identified the male who died in last night’s shooting on
Larchmont Lane as Aaron C. Moody, 21, of the 1900 block of Raven Street.
Last night at
approximately 8:15 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of Larchmont
Lane and Wythemar Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and
found Moody, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound, down and unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical
Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
Nearby, a second
adult male was located who had also suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was
transported to a local hospital with an injury that was not considered life
threatening.
