At approximately 1:24 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Phaup Street for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they found an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
The Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating this incident. First Precinct leadership and Command Staff through the Chief of Police responded to the scene.
