Suspect Sought in North 24th Street Home Break-In, Jewelry Theft

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the individual in the attached photos and video who is suspected of breaking into a home and stealing jewelry.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on September 16, 2020, security video from the back of a residence in the 800 block of North 24th Street shows the male suspect walking up to the home. Detectives have determined he then kicked in the back door and stole a box and pouch, which contained jewelry valued at approximately $5,000. Attached is a photo of some of those items. A few have been in the victims’ family for years and are considered heirlooms.
