At approximately 2:28 p.m., officers were called to the 2500 block of Rosetta Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found an adult male outside of an apartment building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with an injury that is not considered life threatening.
The Major Crimes division’s detectives are investigating this incident. The Chief of Police, Command Staff and First Precinct leadership also responded to the scene.
