Officer Identified in Officer-Involved Shooting on Decatur Street
The Richmond Police Department has released of the name of the officer in the officer-involved shooting incident from December 6:

Cody Adams, 9 years with the RPD.
As with all officer-involved shooting incidents, the department is conducting a thorough investigation of the incident. The investigation continues.
On December 6, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Richmond Police officers attempted to apprehend known wanted individuals after the subjects parked a vehicle in the 3100 block of Decatur Street. Officers approached the vehicle and attempted to detain the individuals when a male in the passenger seat of the vehicle fired shots at an officer. Sergeant Adams returned fire with his service weapon.
A short time later an adult male arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The injured male, identified as Calique Harris, 18, of Richmond, was treated and released from the hospital and subsequently arrested for attempted murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony relating to this incident.
