Suspect Wanted in Abduction in Connection with Double Homicide

The Richmond Police Department is looking for a male involved in the abduction of 2-year-old child following a double homicide in Church Hill.

Jamal Louis Clemons, 27, of the 700 block of North 35th Street is wanted for abduction, three counts of robbery, three counts of robbery with a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony by a convicted felon.

Clemons is a black male, approximately 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-10 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and baggie blue jeans. He has a full beard.

Shortly after 5 p.m. this evening Richmond Police responded to a residence in the 800 block of North 35th Street for a report of two persons down. Officers arrived and found an adult male and an adult female deceased inside a residence. Both had been shot.

Witnesses reported that a male fled the scene inside a 2012 white GMC SUV with Virginia plates: XCZ-6757. Two-year-old Kaiden Burnside was inside that vehicle. He is blonde, has blue eyes and was last seen wearing a red plaid shirt, a white or cream vest and green corduroy pants.
