Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a death investigation this morning.
At approximately 10:36 a.m., officers received a call for a man struck by a train on the railroad tracks under the Powhite Parkway. When officers arrived, they found an adult male deceased at the scene.
Detectives are currently working to identify the man and notify next of kin.
This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it’s available.
