East Broad Street Shooting

Richmond Police detectives are in the early stages of a shooting investigation in the 300 block of East Broad Street this morning.


At approximately 2:30 a.m. today, officers received a call of shots fired and a person down inside a residence in the 300 block of East Broad Street.



Officers arrived within minutes and found two adult males suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They also found an adult female suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds. All have been taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment.

The shooting stemmed from an altercation that occurred inside a residence in the building, and detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for evidence.
