The Richmond Police Department is investigating a homicide
that occurred this morning.
At approximately 2:11 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of
Officers arrived and found a male in a residence who had
suffered from an apparent stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of
death.
Detectives believe the incident stemmed from an argument
with a known subject who then fled the house. At approximately 5 a.m. the male
suspect returned to the scene and surrendered to officers. More information
will be released when it is available.
