Orcutt Lane Homicide Victim Identified

The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of a homicide that occurred Sunday on Orcutt Lane as Antonio M. Grier, 37, of the 2500 block of Mandy Lane.

At approximately 9:27 p.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of Orcutt Lane for reports of shots fired. They arrived to find Grier, who had suffered from an apparent gunshot wound, down and unresponsive in a garden area on the block.

Grier was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.

Several witnesses reported seeing suspects flee the scene in a grey vehicle.
