Arrests Made, Victim Identified in North 29th Street Homicide

The Richmond Police Department has made two arrests in the Sunday homicide that occurred in the 1100 block of North 29th Street.

At approximately 7:37 p.m., officers were called to that location for the report of a shooting. Officers found Damon L. Tucker, 48, of the 4600 block of Greatwood Drive, Henrico, down and unresponsive from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals’ Regional Fugitive Task Force, yesterday arrested Michael C. Robinson, 60, of the 1200 block of West Leigh Street without incident. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Additional charges are pending. His photo is attached.

On Monday, detectives and U. S. Marshals also arrested Brittany L. Garrett, 27, of the 2000 block of Creighton Road and charged her with conspiracy to commit murder. Additional charges are pending. Her photo is attached.
