Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to
identify the individual in the photos who is believed to be responsible for
theft of a motor vehicle in the city’s Southside.
At approximately 11:01 p.m., on Tuesday, February 20,
officers responded to the 2500 block of Warwick Avenue for the report of a
stolen vehicle. When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle proceeding
south on Jefferson Davis Highway. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop,
got out of his vehicle, and fled from officers.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light
complexion. He was last seen wearing a green and purple baseball hat, a brown
button-down shirt, dark pants, and white and grey tennis shoes.
