The Richmond Police Department is in the early stages of a
death investigation after the body of an adult male was found on the
city’s south side.
At approximately 6:36 a.m., RPD
officers were called to the 2100 block of Lumkin Avenue for a report of
a person down. A work crew clearing brush along power lines that flank the
roadway had discovered the body.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the exact cause and manner of death.
