The
Richmond Police Department is still seeking information regarding a shooting
which occurred in October of last year on North 29th Street.
At approximately 4:38
a.m., on Wednesday, October 17, police responded to the 1700 block of North 29th
Street for the report of a person shot. When officers arrived,
they located a juvenile female under the age of 10 suffering from an apparent
gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life
threatening injuries.
“Detectives have
been working diligently to solve this case to bring closure to this family,”
said Major Crimes Det. Eric Livengood. “Due to the time of when this
incident occurred, there is limited details from witnesses. We are
asking anyone who may have suspect information to please come forward.”
