Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to
identify the individual in the photos who is a
suspect in an armed commercial robbery that occurred last month on
Mechanicsville Turnpike.
At approximately 2:57 a.m. on Sunday, December 16 officers responded to the 1600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike for the report of an armed commercial robbery at the Shop Go convenience store. When officers arrived, the victim stated that several minutes prior an unknown male wearing a mask entered the store with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in a black four door sedan.
