The
Richmond Police Department has arrested two suspects and is looking for a
third for a rape and abduction that occurred in Gilpin Court earlier this year.
Currently
in custody are:
· Herbert E. Smith, Jr., 19, of the
1100 block of North 2nd Street – arrested 1/28/20
· Zekhaire A. Robinson, 20, of the
1700 block of Carlisle Avenue – arrested 2/16/20
Both
men have both been charged with rape and abduction in connection with a
sexual assault on an adult female in an apartment in Gilpin Court on January
25th.
A
third suspect, Shaquan H. Hill, 21, of the 1100 block of North 2nd
Street, is still being sought. Smith is described as a black male, 5’ 6”
and 170 pounds.
