RPD to Participate in National Coffee with a Cop Day
The Richmond Police Department will have four locations to enjoy coffee and conversation during tomorrow’s National Coffee with a Cop Day.
National Coffee with a Cop Day is observed on the first Wednesday of October each year. It is a day dedicated to encourage communication and interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.
“We all have a role to play in public safety and we all want safe communities,” said RPD Chief Rick Edwards. “The more we come together to discuss concerns, suggestions, positive experiences and visions for a safer future the better we will be as a community. These events are another excellent way to connect.”
