Ruffin Road Death Investigation and Aggravated Assault
At approximately 9:02 p.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Ruffin Road for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and located an adult male and an adult female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury. The female refused treatment at the scene for her minor injury.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
