Suspect Sought in Jahnke Road Commercial Robbery

Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the two men who are suspects in a robbery that occurred last week on Jahnke Road.

Shortly before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, officers responded to the 7-11 at 6209 Jahnke Rd. for a report of a robbery. Police were told two suspects entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspects took money and several cartons of cigarettes. The suspects then fled the scene firing a weapon into the air as they ran northbound on foot.
The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect 1: A black male that is approximately 5`11" to 6`0" in height and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. At the time he was wearing a green jacket with fur around the hood, blue jeans, and green shoes.
  • Suspect 2: A black male that is approximately 5`5" to 5`8" in height and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. At the time he was wearing a blue puffy jacket; a grey skull cap; black, white and red pajama-type pants; black backpack with red lettering.
