January 16, 2017
The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in yesterday’s homicide in the Brookland Park neighborhood and is asking for the public’s help as they investigate.

Shortly after 6 a.m. yesterday, police were called to the 3100 block of Cliff Avenue for what was initially an in-progress burglary. When officers arrived, they found the victim, Karon E. Williams, 57, of the 3100 block of Cliff Avenue, with an apparent gunshot wound.
