The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is seeking
information from anyone who witnessed a vehicle striking a pedestrian yesterday
on Forest Hill Avenue.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., a pedestrian in a crosswalk was crossing Forest Hill Avenue in the 7400 block when a vehicle traveling westbound on Forest Hill Avenue struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were considered life threatening.
Investigators with the Crash Team responded and interviewed
the driver and took measurements. They are now requesting anyone who witnessed
the collision at the intersection of Forest Hill Avenue and Sheila Lane near
the entrance to Lowe’s and Walmart to contact Special Operations Division
