Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help in providing information regarding a shooting that occurred earlier this month in the 2500 block of Fairfield Avenue.
At approximately 2:58 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, officers responded to the 2500 block of Fairfield Avenue for a report of a shooting. When police arrived, they quickly located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated for life threatening injuries.
“Detectives have been working diligently to solve this case,” said Major Crimes Det. Shatara Donald. “Any bit of information, no matter how small the detail may be, could help lead to an arrest.”
