Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the male suspect in the photo who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy earlier this month.
At
approximately 9:34 p.m., on Friday, October 5, officers were called to
the Walgreens store, located in the 2900 block of Chamberlayne Avenue,
for the report of a robbery. An employee reported the male in the photo
approached the counter with the apparent intention of purchasing an item. When
the employee opened the register in an attempt to make the transaction the
suspect grabbed the cash from the register and fled the store on foot. There
were no injuries.
The
suspect was last seen wearing a grey knit cap, grey sweatpants and white
sneakers. He wore a Pittsburgh Steelers “Salute to Service” hooded sweatshirt.
