Arrest Made in Southwood Parkway Homicide

Richmond Police detectives have arrested a 15-year-old male in connection with last week’s homicide on Southwood Parkway.

The teen, whose name will not be released because he is a juvenile, is charged with first-degree murder, robbery, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18.

Around 10 p.m. August 17, 2020, officers responded to the 4600 block of Southwood Parkway and found Olvin J. Portillo-Archaga with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
