Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Wednesday night’s homicide on St. Peter Street as a juvenile male teenager.
At approximately 11:58 p.m. on August 19, 2020, officers responded to the 1100 block of St. Paul Street for the report of random gunfire and a person shot. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile male and adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in an alley near St. Peter Street. Both victims were transported to a local hospital to be treated. The juvenile later died at the hospital. The second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
