At approximately 1:29 a.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of East Broad Street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found an adult male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, down and unresponsive in the parking lot of a business. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
Several vehicles, including several motorcycles, were seen leaving the area as officers arrived.
