Richmond
Police detectives with the Major Crimes division are investigating several
shootings that occurred overnight in the City.
At approximately 8:55 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of N 4th Street for the report of a shooting that had just occurred. Once on scene, they found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Derwent Road for the report of a person shot. Once on scene, they found an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike for the report of a person shot. Once on scene, they found an adult female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital for the report of a 17-year-old male who had shown up with apparent gunshot wounds. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Detectives have determined the shooting happened in the 2100 block of Accommodation Street.
These
investigations are ongoing. At this time, there are no suspect descriptions.
