Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Sunday’s homicide on East 36th Street as Edward Wells, 56, of Highland Springs.
At approximately 9:22 a.m., August 22, Richmond Police responded to the 100 block of East 36th Street for a person down. Officers arrived and located an adult male, Wells, with apparent injuries down and unresponsive inside of a structure. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
