Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in Tuesday’s homicide on Halifax Avenue as Dajuan Bolden, 28, of Richmond.
Tuesday at approximately 3:21 p.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Halifax Avenue for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found Bolden suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with an injury that was considered life threatening. He succumbed to his injury at the hospital.
A second adult male who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound while in the 2200 block of Halifax Avenue was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle. His injury was not considered life threatening.
The investigation continues.
