Robbery Suspect Sought

The Richmond Police Department needs the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a convenience store and was then seen panhandling in the same area afterward.

At approximately 11 p.m. on Monday, June 2, a man walked into the Exxon station at 7100 Patterson Ave. and robbed the business.

He had a mustache and may have a scraggly beard now, as well as salt and pepper hair. He may be homeless and was last seen wearing green sweat pants, a grey Mt Bike baseball cap, sunglasses and his name may be “Ray.”

Anyone with any information about this man or this crime is asked to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
