Suspect Still Sought in Officer Assault
Richmond Police detectives are making a second request for information from the public to help locate Daejshon-terrique Blizzard, the driver who struck and injured officers at a traffic stop last week.
Detectives believe there is a possibility Blizzard has returned to the Richmond area.
Blizzard, 21, of the 3200 block of Chamberlayne Avenue, is a black male who is approximately five feet seven inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. His photo is attached.
At approximately 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, officers attempted to stop Blizzard for a moving violation in the 1600 block of Lamb Avenue. Blizzard turned the vehicle and struck the officers. Blizzard ran from the scene on foot.
The vehicle Blizzard was driving was impounded for the investigation. Detectives believe Blizzard is now possibly driving a white Ford Explorer.
