Victim Identified in East Hill Street Homicide

Victim Identified in East Hill Street Homicide Richmond Police have identified the victim from last night’s homicide as Lyle P. McMurtray, 23, of the 100 block of Easy Street, Dutton, Virginia. At approximately 9 p.m. yesterday, officers received a call for a person down in a vehicle in the 100 block of East Hill Street. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive male inside a white SUV parked on the block. The victim had suffered what appeared to be a gunshot wound and was dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
