Suspect Sought in Attempted Robbery

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect in the photos who attempted a commercial robbery this month.

At approximately 6:25 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, an unknown male walked into the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 1801 Hull St. and attempted to rob the business. The suspect is described as a white male, late 40’s, wearing a white jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a black knit cap.

The suspect claimed to have a firearm and threatened employees but never displayed a weapon and left without stealing anything. He fled on foot in the direction of Bainbridge Street. There were no injuries.
