Victim Identified in Coalter Street Homicide
The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim in Sunday morning’s homicide on Coalter Street as Zyemontae Redd, 15, of the 4300 block of Hillbrook Avenue, Henrico.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., officers were called to the 1400 block of Coalter Street for the report of shots fired.
Officers arrived and found Redd and two other males in the area of Coalter and Redd streets suffering from gunshot wounds. The two wounded males were transported to VCU Medical Center with injuries that are not considered life threatening.
Detectives are following up on several leads.
