Richmond
Police detectives have identified the victims of an early morning double
homicide yesterday and are continuing their investigation.
At
approximately 2:27 a.m. Sunday, officers
received a call for a person shot in the 400
block of Westover Hills Boulevard. They arrived on scene within minutes and
found three people who had been shot.
Elijah D. Gee, 24, of the 4800 block of
Red Oak Lane, and Antonio M. Sherman, 18,
of the 300 block of Payne Street in Lynchburg, died at the scene.
A
19-year-old female was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries,
but is now in stable condition.
Detectives
believe the shootings stemmed from an argument at a party, and are following up
on several leads.
They ask anyone with information about this incident to call
