A
Henrico County man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that
occurred Wednesday afternoon in Gilpin Court.
Harry
M. Williams Jr, 35, of the 1000 block of Tall Grass Court in Henrico County, was taken into custody this
morning by the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with attempted
murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, both of
which are felony charges. His booking photo is attached.
At
approximately 4:28 p.m. on June 29, officers were called to the 1000 block of
St. John Street in Gilpin Court for a report of a shooting. They located an
adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a
local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and
released later that night.
Detectives
believe the shooting stemmed from an argument.
