Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspect, in the
attached photos, involved in an attempted robbery on Saturday at the Walgreens
Pharmacy in Carytown.
At
approximately 9:05 a.m. Saturday morning, officers were called to the Walgreens
Pharmacy located at 3520 Ellwood Avenue for a report of an attempted robbery.
The suspect approached the counter with a handgun and demanded money. Before
leaving the store, the suspect fired one shot from his gun. He was last seen
fleeing on foot towards Floyd Avenue. No injuries were reported. No items or
money were taken from the store. Photos of suspect are attached. Video will be
sent separately.
The
suspect is described as a black male who is approximately 20 years old, 5’10”
in height and 150 pounds. At the time, he was wearing a white T-shirt with a
black long sleeve shirt underneath, blue jeans, a black hat, and red, black and
white shoes.
