Man Arrested in Broad Street Shooting, Four More Suspects Sought
A Chesterfield County man has been arrested and police are seeking four other men in connection with a shooting that occurred in mid-July on West Broad Street.

D-Vonn A. Reaux, 20, of the 3700 block of Lucky Lee Cres North in Chesterfield County, turned himself in on Tuesday at Richmond Police Headquarters. He is charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His booking photo is attached.
At approximately 2:42 a.m. on July 16, officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 1100 block of West Broad Street. They arrived to find an adult male lying in the street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Virginia Commonwealth University Police provided vital assistance during the preliminary phase of investigation, including responding to the crime scene, interviewing witnesses and helping RPD detectives to identify three of the suspects.
“Detectives have been working strong leads since the incident, and this arrest brings us one step closer to clearing this case,” said Lt. Jason Hudson with the Major Crimes Unit. “However, there are still two suspects at large, who are wanted in connection with this shooting, and two more whom we need the public’s help to identify.”
Two Chesterfield County men, 20-year-old Kiante M. Smith and 22-year-old Montrell Graves are each wanted on charges of attempted murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Both men should be considered armed and dangerous. They should not be approached. Anyone who sees them is asked to call police immediately.

Smith is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, weighing 160 pounds with a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Graves is described as a black male, 6’2” tall, weighing 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Recent photos of Smith and Graves are attached.
Two more unidentified suspects were captured on video prior to the shooting and running from the shooting scene. Surveillance photos are attached.
The first suspect is described as a black male with light facial hair who wore a black T-shirt with a design on the front and dark shorts at the time of the incident.
The second suspect is also a black male with some facial hair who wore a Baltimore Ravens shirt with “Lewis #52” on the back and jeans.
