One
of the two females who were shot on Creighton Road yesterday morning has died.
The
Richmond Police Department has identified her as Oyana T. Carlyle, 27, of
the 1500 block of North 21st Street.
Yesterday
at approximately 2:46 a.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Creighton
Road for the report of random gunfire. Officers arrived and found Carlyle and
another female who were suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were transported to a local hospital where, yesterday, Carlyle died.
The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
