The Richmond
Police Department has made an arrest in connection to Monday’s homicide on
Clarkson Road.
DeQuan
T. Burns, 21, of the 5100 block of Van Hoy Lane, Charlotte, NC, turned
himself in to police yesterday. Burns has been charged with robbery, and
use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Additional charges are pending.
At
approximately 10:21 p.m., Monday, police were called to the 1400 block of
Clarkson Road for the report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they
found Bryant S. Jordan, 24, of the 5900 block of Sugarbush Drive
suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
