The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of this morning’s homicide as Oscar W. Lewis II, 25, of the 1700 block of N. 29th Street.
The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim of this morning’s homicide as Oscar W. Lewis II, 25, of the 1700 block of N. 29th Street.
At approximately 1:16 a.m., officers patrolling in the area heard
gunfire. When police arrived to the 1700 block of East Main Street they located
Lewis and another individual suffering from life-threatening gunshot
wounds. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. The other individual was
transported to a local hospital to be treated.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
