Suspects Sought in Midlothian Turnpike Robbery

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspects in the attached photos wanted in connection to a robbery in the city’s south side.

At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, police were called to a hotel the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike for a robbery. The victim was outside of his hotel room when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects, who was wearing an orange shirt, said, “I need to talk on your cell phone.” After a brief exchange of words, the suspect struck the victim and the second suspect, wearing a gray shirt, struck him afterward. They took a wallet and cash from the victim pocket and fled the scene toward a nearby gas station on Midlothian Turnpike.
The suspects are described as:

·        Suspect 1: A black male. He is approximately 5’7” to 5’8” tall, 170 to 200 pounds. At the time he wearing an orange and gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

·        Suspect 2: A black male. Approximately 5’4” to 5’7 tall, 200 to 220 points. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the number 10 on the front, black pants and white sneakers.
