Second Victim Identified in Shockoe Bottom Homicide

The Richmond Police Department has identified the second victim as Deonte M. Bullock, 19, of the 2200 block of Carrington Street in the homicide which occurred early Sunday morning in Shockoe Bottom.

At approximately 1:16 a.m., officers patrolling in the area heard gunfire. When police arrived to the 1700 block of East Main Street they located Bullock and Oscar W. Lewis II, 25, of the 1700 block of N. 29th Street suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bullock was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.

The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
